I don’t trust people whose favourite wrestlers win all the time. I’m not saying you can’t like them. I love Miyu Yamashita and Takumi Iroha, but if they’re your absolute favourite? Nah, that’s sus. That leads me to also assume you’re the sort who decided late in life to support Man City, Real Madrid or Celtic because you believe football is about winning lots of trophies and not the pain and suffering of watching some useless bastards fail to kick a fucking ball around. At the end of my last Ice Ribbon review, I promised that I would stop talking about the transitional period the company was in. Of course, since then, Tsukushi has announced her retirement, and I got a fright when I glanced at Twitter in the pub on Friday and thought Tsukka was following her. Thankfully, that’s not the case, as she’s simply taking some time off to enjoy married life, but it would be nice if Ice Ribbon could have a quiet period. Anyway, no matter who is coming or going, the wrestling continues, and they were in Korakuen over the weekend, which is nearly always a good time.

It’s time for the Colorful World of Marvelous to get serious. Well, a little bit. This show kicked off the AAAW Tag League, which will see the first AAAW tag champions crowned since Ran Yu-Yu and Toshie Uematsu back in 2005. Will it be Takumi Iroha and Hibiscus Mii? Or perhaps Rin Kadokura and Itsuki Aoki? No, it will be neither of them because Young Mystic Fox are going all the way. ‘Mon Oka and Ai!
