TJPW Winter In Kobe (8/1/22) Review

While Ittenyon may take place in the new year, it is really the exclamation mark on the previous one. With it out of the way, Tokyo Joshi can move forward into 2022 and start the build towards Sumo Hall, their biggest show yet. What will join Miyu vs Shoko on the card? Well, it might be a while before we find out, but we’ll certainly start to get some ideas.

Tokyo Joshi Pro-Wrestling ’22 (4/1/22) Review

Inevitable. Credit: TJPW

Ittenyon is a special time of the year. There is something about that date and a big wrestling show that just makes sense. Thankfully, while I’m no longer bothered about what’s going down in the Tokyo Dome, TJPW is here to make sure I still have a lovely day. This company plus Korakuen hasn’t let me down in a long old time, and I can’t imagine January 4th is going to be the moment that changes, but let’s find out.

TJPW Hustle! Wrestle! Nagoya Castle! (18/12/21) Review

She’s home, and she brought a cool jacket. Credit: TJPW

TJPW have made popping to Nagoya before Christmas a bit of a tradition in recent years, and with the addition of hometown girl Yuki Arai to the roster, this was a chance for the company to make some new fans. So far, Arai has stepped up to every test they’ve thrown at her, but this was her biggest yet, as she took on the Ace, Miyu Yamashita, in the main event. Would she stumble? I’m writing this before watching the match, but I would put the house I don’t own on no.

TJPW Autumn ~ The Beauties of Nature ~(5/12/21) Review

Incoming. Credit: TJPW

With TJPW’s final Korakuen of 2021 done and dusted, it’s time to shift the focus to the first one of 2022. Yes, Ittenyon is somehow just around the corner, and we’re beginning to put all the chips in place. We’ve already got Mizuki vs Miyu, but now it’s time to find out what the International Princess Title and Hikari Noa will be doing. How fun!

TJPW All Rise (25/11/21) Review

If all else fails, chuck a Mizuki at the problem. Credit: TJPW

There aren’t many things as consistently brilliant as a TJPW trip to Korakuen, and it feels like it’s been a while since we last had one. They were back with a packed card that didn’t have a Princess of Princess Title match on it but did give us an Up Up Girls’ collision and 121000000 going after MagiRabbit. That sounds like a good time, doesn’t it? Let’s find out if it was.

TJPW 秋~花鳥月露~ (6/11/21) Review

TJPW days are always good days, as you’re basically guaranteed a couple of hours of enjoyable wrestling. With the next Korakuen getting mighty close, this show was all about teasing those big title matches, with both 121000000 and the Sugar Rabbits in action, while Hikari and Miu faced off in the main event. I’m excited, are you excited? You should be excited.

TJPW Let’s Take Bravely (30/10/21) Review

The TJPW streak of live shows continues as we’re getting perilously close to their next Korakuen. So far, we’ve only got the main event of 121000000 vs MagiRabbi booked, so I came into this expecting to get a couple more announcements and, spoiler, we did. Want to find out what they are? Well, you could probably get them on Twitter pretty quickly, but you could also read my review. C’mon, you know you want to.

TJPW 秋~花鳥月露~ (23/10/21) Review

With the launch of the new look Wrestle Universe, we’re getting a whole month of live TJPW shows, which is one lovely spooky season treat. Not that any of them are designed to make you jump, at least not yet. I’ve watched enough horror films to know that something scary could pop up at any moment, so I’m never going to rule it out. Anyway, I’ll stop blabbering nonsense and get on with the rambles.
