With TJPW’s next Korakuen on the horizon, we’ve got a streak of live shows in the build-up to it and, with them, the potential for a whole lot of fun. The first one was headlined by a massive ten-person tag, previewing all the big showdowns on that card, so I think we should stop blabbing and get into it.

TJPW days are always good days, as you’re basically guaranteed a couple of hours of enjoyable wrestling. With the next Korakuen getting mighty close, this show was all about teasing those big title matches, with both 121000000 and the Sugar Rabbits in action, while Hikari and Miu faced off in the main event. With the launch of the new look Wrestle Universe, we’re getting a whole month of live TJPW shows, which is one lovely spooky season treat. Not that any of them are designed to make you jump, at least not yet. I’ve watched enough horror films to know that something scary could pop up at any moment, so I’m never going to rule it out. With Wrestle Princess getting ever closer, Tokyo Joshi was back live on Wrestle Universe. We still lack a card outside of the title match, but with that being a massive showdown between Itoh and Miyu, I don’t think anyone’s too worried, and they both had featured singles matches on this show to whet the appetite.

After a mindbogglingly good first day at Korakuen, Tokyo Joshi is back to wrap up these Princess Cup shenanigans. My prediction of a Mizuki vs Shoko final didn’t come to be, but I did predict Shoko to win, so I might not have got it completely wrong. I guess it’s time to find out.
