Marvelous didn’t sit back and enjoy the success of their May Yokohama Buntai show for long. Before the crowd had even left the room, they’d already turned their attention towards Korakuen, declaring ambition goal to sell it out. Unfortunately, that didn’t quite happen, but it was damn close. I don’t have the stats to hand, and they tend not to release attendance statistics, but I’d be surprised if this wasn’t one of their highest-selling Korakuens. The room was busy, so let’s ramble about how the wrestling went.

Marvelous 10th Anniversary (5/5/26) Ramble

I started writing a full review of this show, only to realise that there were a few matches I had very little to say about. They weren’t awful, or even that bad, but it’s hard to wrangle opinions on everything. What am I going to say about another Titus Alexander vs Starboy Charlie match? They seem like nice lads, and Titus gets Marvelous in a way only a handful of foreign talents have, but them wrestling each other is what it is. It was for a WWE belt, for Christ’s sake. So, instead, I’ve picked out some talking points that I do have something to say about.

Ice Ribbon Ribbonmania (31/12/25) Review

Confession time. I was determined going into 2025 to watch more Ice Ribbon, but, as is often the case, I failed. Time, money and all those other boring things got in the way. However, with Ribbonmania closing out the year, I decided to pop back in, see what was going down and have a ramble about it. With that in mind, I apologise if I’m missing any context here. I’m sure there’s someone else out there who can fill in the gaps.

Ramblings About’s Matches of the Month for September 2025

It’s a quieter roundup this month, not because of a lack of good wrestling, but because I haven’t had a chance to watch a lot of it. There’s no big, dramatic reason for that, I’ve just been a bit busy. Fingers crossed, I’ll be able to check out a bit more in October. However, I have decided to add a permanent ‘Past Rambles’ section, which gives me a chance to focus on matches that I’ve watched from, well, the past. It makes its debut here with a WCW Women’s Cruiserweight Title match from 1997. So hopefully you enjoy that!
