NJPW New Japan Cup (10/3/19) Review

Get excited. Credit: NJPW

After a dodgy second night in the New Japan Cup Kota Ibushi and Tetsuya Naito are here to save us all. You know those two aren’t laying an egg. Meanwhile, EVIL vs ZSJ continues, a Young Lion steps up to The Ace and Taguchi begins his quest to be the 69th IWGP Heavyweight champion. That should be enough to keep us going.

NJPW Anniversary Event (6/3/19) Review

This did not end well for Billy. Credit: NJPW

You get some fun combinations as a couple of matches always deliver. Christ, last year Hirooki Goto had a good showing with Beer City Bruiser, where else are you going to see that? I think people need to stop overthinking it, and just enjoy it.

NJPW The New Beginning in Sapporo (2/2/19) Review

Ace off. Credit: NJPW

New Japan’s first New Beginning show (if we don’t count the ones taking place in America) might not have had the big title matches, but there was plenty of intrigue going around. This was another chance for Tanahashi to get an elusive win over Jay White before their title match while EVIL finally got his hands on ZSJ. How did it go down? Read on and find out.
