NJPW New Japan Road (21/2/19) Review

Cheerio you crazy bastard. Credit: NJPW

Takashi Iizuka is hanging up his boot, and despite (at best) being ambivalent about him, I can’t help feeling a bit emotional. Sure, I’ve spent the last couple of years moaning about his bitey ways, but that doesn’t mean I hate the old cannibal. He’s alright really. Let’s see him out in style!

NJPW The New Beginning In Osaka (11/2/19) Review

Don Callis is on commentary which is the sign that it’s time for a big New Japan show. That’s still kind of weird, isn’t it? Anyway, after a slightly meandering New Beginning tour, we’re finally onto the important stuff as The Knife Pervert got a chance to pick himself up a lovely new belt. Exciting!

NJPW New Year Dash (5/1/19) Review

Welcome back. Credit: NJPW

If you’re new to NJPW, think of New Year Dash as a bit like the Raw after WrestleMania. With the big show out of the way, it’s time to set-up the year ahead with recent years featuring the return of Suzuki-gun and Jay White turning down Kenny Omega and Bullet Club. We’re entering Dome season, so I’m in an excellent mood. Let’s do this!

NJPW World Tag League Night Sixteen (7/12/18) Review

Here comes the man. Credit: NJPW

Sweet baby Jesus, we’re so close to putting this fucker to bed! After this show, we only have the final left which brings with it an Ibushi match, so I’m looking forward to that. One last push and we’re done with World Tag League for another year. If we grit our teeth and think of Kota, we can get through it together.

NJPW World Tag League Night Twelve (2/12/18) Review

Yup, that’s what I expected. Credit: NJPW

We’re drawing ever closer to the end of World Tag League 2018, and I shan’t be sad to see it go. It hasn’t been an awful tournament, but I do feel like I’ve put a shitload of time into something that has not affected my life either positively or negatively. That’s a bit sad, isn’t it? Oh dear. Let’s stop thinking and start reviewing.
