AJW Throwback: AJW Classics Episode 21 Review

Our bizarre cliffhanger.

We’re moving into the latter half of AJW’s ’87 as episode 21 of Classics features a chunk of Tag League and a couple of intriguing singles. It’s then all somewhat let down by a decision from whoever edited it, but we’ll get to that, and it hopefully won’t ruin all the fun.

AJW Throwback: AJW Classics Episode 11 Review

No disaffecting happening here.

With the success of Assemble, I’m feeling particularly warm and fuzzy towards the old-guard of joshi. These two were pretty badass.

After a short break, we are back with another dive into Dave Meltzer’s five-star classics. We’re (as we often are) in Japan for this one and it’s our second appearance from all-around badass, Lioness Asuka. In this one, she goes up against her Crush Gals teammate Chigusa Nagoya in a match which takes both of them to the limit.
