Rambles about the wonderful world of wrestling.
It’s a bit later than I would have liked, thanks to life, but I finally managed to sit down and gather my thoughts on Wrestle Princess VII. As has recently been the norm with these big shows, I decided not to go match-by-match, but instead focus on the broader themes. It was a good one! While these tent-pole events aren’t my favourite TJPW shows (more on that below), that doesn’t mean I don’t have a lovely time at them.

It feels like forever since we’ve had a big Tokyo Joshi Pro-Wrestling show. Sure, there have been trips to America, farewells to beloved ring announcers and Yoppy’s retirement in that time, but we haven’t had a bells and whistles Tokyo Joshi event since March, which might as well be last year. Thankfully, they have come back with a bang. Let’s stop talking about it and find out.

Let’s get this Max Heart Tournament rolling. We had a preview over the last two TJPW shows with Moka and Arai and (the brilliantly named) Free WiFi winning their respective clashes, but now all the big guns are coming out. Yup, Marika and Raku are here to end Venyu’s momentum before it even gets going. ‘Mon the Gyau Train!

It’s finally time for Wrestle Princess. TJPW’s biggest show of what has been an incredible year for the company, no matter what some people on Twitter might have decided. This card was packed with special guests and amazing match-ups, so I’m going to stop with the boring bit, and get into it. Away we go!
