Injustice: Gods Among Us

Continuing my cutting edge video game journalism, I am back with my second video, this time looking at Injustice: Gods Among Us.  As I said with the last video I am still trying to navigate my way around putting these together so please be nice, although if you do have any constructive criticism feel free to chip in.

Pokemon X

If you take a look at the section of this website named Top 10s, you will notice that on the list of my favourite games of all time, Pokemon Red sits in slot number 2.  Pokemon was pretty much year zero for me when it came to playing games.  Sure, I had played some before that.  But Pokemon was the first game that I poured hour after hour into.  Since then I have played pretty much every game in the franchise and as long as I have a suitable break between each installment, have never grown bored with them.

Far Cry 4

Charging into an enemy base astride an elephant, firing your gun left, right and centre before leaping off, stabbing someone in the neck and claiming it for the Golden Path, the freedom/terrorist movement (depending on where you stand) that you are a part of.  There is no denying that moments like this in Far Cry 4 make you feel awesome and that’s not even a campaign mission or the only way you could go about it.  Want to sit on the hill opposite and snipe, never even being spotted by those in the base.  You can do it.  Want to float in on a hang glider raining grenades from above.  Yup, they’ve got it.  Far Cry 4’s greatest strength comes in moments like this.

South Park: The Stick of Truth

To switch to a completely different kind of game from yesterday’s Football Manager review, last night I finished South Park: The Stick of Truth.  It’s another game that actually came out this year, so I am currently managing to stay very modern with my gaming choices.  The game took quite a long time to come out, with its release date being delayed several times and its European release seeing some parts cut, due to their graphic nature.  Of course, Trey Parker and Matt Stone responded to this in typical fashion, by instead inserting screens that apologised for the censorship, but go onto describe the scene anyway.
