Another month, another RevPro visit to the Cockpit. February provided us with a packed show featuring seven matches, including an exciting main event between Zack Sabre Jr and Travis Banks. Time to see how they all got on. Let’s dish out some stars.
While there were three New Beginning shows (and a few more if you include the Road To… events), it was clear right from the start that one reigned supreme over the others. The Osaka card was the chosen one. Christ, it has six singles matches on it, find me another New Japan show that has that? First up, IÂ apologise for this review being a bit late. Quite frankly there is too much fucking wrestling. I’m not really complaining, I quite like wrestling, but the Disco Derby was behind a few more prominent shows in the queue.
Discovery’s first event of the New Year saw them pull the old indie trick of putting on their own Rumble. While it might not have gone to plan (more on that later), this was a solid card with the potential for some great action. Let’s dish out some stars.
After crowning their inaugural women’s champion, RevPro is back with their first big show of the year. High Stakes had a few friends popping over from Japan alongside an Aussie newcomer. All of which is pretty exciting. Let’s dish out some stars.
Having delivered with a solid undercard and a fantastic main event on the first night of New Beginning, NJPW returned to the same arena for round two. It’s a sign off how hot the company is that they went ahead with that, as neither card was packed with big matches. Let’s dish out some stars.

The key to a great weekend of WWE is an NXT show. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve watched the Royal Rumble, but the lowest match on this card had me more excited than Kane vs Lesnar vs Strowman. TakeOvers are the best programming WWE produces and reviewing them is always a pleasure. Let’s dish out some stars.
I promised last year that I was going to start reviewing Dragon Gate and I intend to keep that promise. I go into this show at least knowing who a handful of the wrestlers are so it shouldn’t be quite as muddled as my NOAH review. However, I’m still going in blind when it comes to storylines, so please forgive me if I miss any of the subtle touches (because I’m usually so good at those). Let’s dish out some stars.
