With CyberFest behind them (which I didn’t review but is well worth the afternoon it will take to watch), it’s time for the King Of DDT. I love the simplicity of a knockout tournament, especially one with lots of good wrestlers in it (although the cowards didn’t put Saki in) and with a whopping eights singles matches on this show, there is plenty to get our teeth into.

You’ve got to feel a bit sorry for DDT, as having to follow that Tokyo Joshi show into Korakuen was a hell of an ask. I know they’re all on the same side, but they were going to have to go all out not to be blown away by their sister promotion.

DDT Day Dream Believer (14/3/21) Review

It’s been a while since I last wrote about DDT. That wasn’t a decision I made on purpose or because I’d stopped enjoying the company, there is simply too much wrestling and too little time. Occasionally, something has to slip, and for a bit, that something was DDT. However, after enjoying a few of their recent big shows, I’m back and looking forward to catching up with what’s gone down.

DDT TV Show Episode 6 (13/6/20) Review

Unless things take a turn for the worse in Japan, this will be the last DDT TV Show to take place in an empty arena. It’s the end of an era, but probably not one that deserves much in the way of celebration. We can say that I think DDT have dealt with it all rather brilliantly, and it will be interesting to see if any of the tricks they’ve picked up along the way will continue to be of use in front of fans.
