NJPW Best Of The Super Jr. 26 Final (5/6/19) Review

Bit of a tasty one. Credit: NJPW

After years in Korakuen Hall, New Japan rolled the dice and moved the Best Of The Super Junior final to Ryogoku. It was a massive statement of intent, and they backed it up by giving us the debut of Jon Moxley and Tanahashi’s return from injury underneath the tournament conclusion. Now, did they justify that move?

Ramblings About’s Top Ten Matches Of April 2019

Spoiler. Credit: NJPW

Hello friends, April was a busy old month for the wrassling, wasn’t it? That little thing called WrestleMania grabbed everyone’s attention for a bit, but it was far from alone. Unfortunately, that means there is a lot of stuff I haven’t watched. I’ve barely scratched the surface of the Champion’s Carnival, and haven’t even got around to watching Kofi Kingston vs Daniel Bryan. Still, there is a load I have seen, and that was packed with exciting matches.

NJPW Sengoku Lord (20/4/19) Review

Kota’s pissed. Credit: NJPW

Having conquered Madison Square Garden, New Japan could return home feeling rather proud of themselves. After all, they didn’t hire and fire two twats within the space of a few weeks. Anyway, it’s now business as normal as they hit the road for the Dontaku tour, with a brief stop off at Sengoku Lord. It’s a show with a sneakily good card, so fingers crossed it translates to being even better in reality.

WrestleMania Weekend: G1 Supercard (6/4/19) Review

RAINMAKER! Credit: NJPW

It’s time for the big one! New Japan is in the Garden. And, well, I guess Ring Of Honor is there too. The G1 Supercard should be the show of the weekend, and if ROH weren’t there, I’d be putting money on that being the case. Sadly, I don’t trust those cunts, so we’ll have to wait and see. Still, Ibushi vs Naito could fart into a kazoo for thirty minutes, and I’d stand up and clap, so I’m going to have a good time.

WrestleMania Weekend: WrestleCon SuperShow (4/4/19) Review

As it is WrestleMania Weekend and I’m drunk, I’m bashing these reviews out and not really editing them (yes, I usually edit). If an incoherent ramble doesn’t interest you, don’t bother reading them.

The WrestleCon Supershow is a WrestleMania tradition at this point and, despite having both PAC and a load of Dragon Gate talent pull out this year, you can almost guarantee it will deliver.

Ramblings About’s Top Ten Matches Of March 2019

Spoilers. Credit: NJPW

Hello friends, this month’s selection of matches is rather New Japan focused thanks to the New Japan Cup. That had the dual effect of New Japan putting on a lot of shows with the potential for greatness and me not having a lot of time to check out other wrestling because I was reviewing it all. Anyway, here’s some fantastic graps.

NJPW New Japan Cup (10/3/19) Review

Get excited. Credit: NJPW

After a dodgy second night in the New Japan Cup Kota Ibushi and Tetsuya Naito are here to save us all. You know those two aren’t laying an egg. Meanwhile, EVIL vs ZSJ continues, a Young Lion steps up to The Ace and Taguchi begins his quest to be the 69th IWGP Heavyweight champion. That should be enough to keep us going.
