Dragon Gate moves onto their Champion Gate tour with the first event headlined by a brace of titles matches. I’m feeling more at home in Dragon Gate with every show, and they’re becoming one of my favourite promotions. Hopefully, that will continue to be the case.

There was a bit of buzz heading into this Dragon Gate show. Kzy challenging for the Open The Dream Gate title got everyone excited. As a Dragon Gate noob, I can’t pretend I was feeling the same. Dragon Gate Open The New Year Gate 14/1/18 Review

I promised last year that I was going to start reviewing Dragon Gate and I intend to keep that promise. I go into this show at least knowing who a handful of the wrestlers are so it shouldn’t be quite as muddled as my NOAH review. However, I’m still going in blind when it comes to storylines, so please forgive me if I miss any of the subtle touches (because I’m usually so good at those). Let’s dish out some stars.
