Meltzer’s Classics: The Young Bucks and Adam Cole vs Ricochet, Will Ospreay and Matt Sydal (3/9/16)

The hype around this six-man chaos led to many people checking out the high-octane style of PWG for the first time. Whether you love it or hate it, it’s fair to say that it’s been incredibly influential on how wrestling has gone in the last few years and matches like this helped push it to a wider audience.

Let’s do this. Credit: Impact

Having enjoyed Impact vs Lucha Underground from WrestleMania Weekend, I have decided to once again slip into the pool that is Impact. The company formerly known as TNA has burned me before, but their relationship with Lucha Underground combined with the likes of Don Callis taking critical roles behind the scenes has got me intrigued. I’m leaping in and hoping they’ve finally sorted their shit out.

If you don’t want to pretend, screw you. I’m doing it anyway. The last day gave us the final alongside a handful of title matches which should be more than enough to keep us entertained. Let’s dish out some stars.

The last time I reviewed Impact, I said it would be exactly that, the last time. However, since then there has been more creative changes and the company seems to be heading in the right direction. So, once again, we step into the breach. It’s Bound For Glory time and Impact’s biggest show of the year is getting another chance to impress me. Let’s dish out some stars.

PWG Battle Of Los Angeles Night One Review

As a rule, I try to keep my wrestling reviews relatively current. There are too many outstanding shows going on to get wrapped up in reviewing everything, and sometimes you just have to let stuff go. When it comes to PWG (and their unusual way of getting their product out to a broader audience), I’m willing to make an exception. The Battle Of Los Angeles has become an essential date in the indie calendar and with the DVDs finally being released to those of us who couldn’t pack into the sweatbox, it’s time to check out this year’s edition. Let’s dish out some stars.
