Tokyo Joshi moving to more regular Korakuens was one of those things that both excited and worried me. On the upside, I love big TJPW shows. They always feel special, and I can’t remember the last one that failed to deliver. The downside is that doing them more regularly might water down that special feeling. Thankfully, the card for their February trip to that legendary venue showed no sign of that being the case, as they had loaded this thing up with intriguing match-ups. Now reality simply had to live up to what was on paper.

Ramblings About’s Top Ten Matches of January 2021

The calendar has ticked over, and we are into 2021, bringing with it, em, well, much of the same so far, but fingers crossed it gets better! It does mean we’re into a fresh year of wrestling, though, with a whole new set of opportunities for people new and old to impress. Tokyo Joshi Pro ’21 (4/1/21) Review

Good old January 4th, a special time of year when Tokyo Joshi hold a yearly show and, well, I don’t know, I’m sure some other stuff happens too. TJPW may have had a bigger event at Tokyo Dome City Hall not that long ago, but this date has a lot of history, and with a packed card, it’s safe to say they aren’t about to ditch it any time soon.

TJPW Wrestling Of My Mind (12/12/20) Review

I know 2020 has been a hell year that went on forever, but I also can’t quite believe it’s nearly over. It’s simultaneously crawled and sprinted past as this is Tokyo Joshi’s final live showing before the January 4th Korakuen as everything else will be going out on a tape delay. That means this will probably be the last time I review them in 2020, so let’s go out on a high.
