TJPW City Circuit (4/9/22) Review

With the success of the Yuki Arai project, Nagoya has become a solid secondary market for TJPW. They’re slowly building up the size of the rooms they run there, and her winning the tag belts gave them a perfect main event for this show. That’s a nice coincidence, isn’t it? It’s almost like someone planned it.

TJPW Summer Sun Princess ’22 (9/7/22) Review

The Diamond Ass is versatile. Credit: TJPW

I can’t imagine anyone reading this is interested in my private life, but I spent the last five days in a field, baking in the sun, drinking too much beer and watching loads of live music, so to say I’m a bit frazzled is an understatement. I was doing so well on keeping up with wrestling, and then we hit the summer months, which meant I started having to go outside and see other people, and now I’m behind again. Despite all that, there is plenty of action to get your teeth into from the last month with multiple returns, at least one goodbye and a special tribute show. Enjoy!

Kaiju vs superhero. Credit: TJPW

TJPW’s busy Golden Week continued with the biggest show of the lot, as they hit up a sold-out Korakuen (superhero vs kaiju confirmed draw) for a topsy turvy card. With AEW requesting Yuka Sakazaki’s presence on short notice, MagiRabbi vs Free WiFi was going to have to open this one so she could rush off to the airport, meaning things were all a bit backwards. Still, no matter what order the matches come in, it was TJPW in Korakuen, a combo that rarely misses.
