With Evolve 94 proving to be a decent showing from Gabe and his boys it was up to 95 to continue that momentum. They had an influx of fresh and relatively unknown talent, a new champion and an invasion angle set up. In theory, that’s an excellent place to start, and it now all leans on where they go next. Evolve 94 Review

 

It’s been a tough month for Evolve. Between leaked emails and broken relationships, the focus has moved away from the ring and towards the shenanigans behind the scenes. A move that I can’t imagine they are that happy about. However, with a big main-event between Keith Lee and Matt Riddle, there was a chance that Evolve 94 could start to correct that slide. ICW Fight Club 70 Review

Since last year’s Fear & Loathing I’ve fallen out of touch with ICW. I haven’t had the chance to attend any shows and haven’t watched a Fight Club in far too long. Luckily, the internet has kept me informed on all the significant dealings (good and bad), but I’m out of the loop. I reckon it’s time to change that. This year’s F&L is around the corner, and the hype is beginning to build. With Fight Club 70 up on YouTube, it was time to see what was happening in Scotland’s wildest promotion. NJPW G1 Climax Day 13 (August 4th) Review

You go away for a long weekend and not only do you fall behind on the G1, but New Japan dredges up a demon from the depths of hell to provide commentary. It’s brilliant to see Honma on the mend, but fuck me, I’m going to be having nightmares about that voice for weeks. Anyway, as mentioned, I’ve fallen behind so we better get on with the show.
