The AAAW Tag League continues, with Marvelous taking their Colorful World to Osaka. It’s the show where the big guns will enter the fray as our future champions, Mystic Young Fox, start their campaign. On top of that, we’ve got a certain Dump Matsumoto making an appearance, who I’m sure will be very calm and not at all violent.

After an incredible start to the year, February 2022 suddenly had some pressure on its shoulders. Could it keep it going? TJPW aren’t having much luck when it comes to the old COVID. Miyu Yamashita and Make Itoh have tested positive, with Yuka Sakazaki, Rika Tatsumi, Nodoka Tenma and Raku all being close contacts. That is a lot of talent to have on the bench (and fingers crossed they’re all okay), but they still scraped together a card, and I have faith that this roster can pull through. Let’s find out if I’m right.

With the Rona once again running wild in Japan (thanks, Omicron), TJPW were forced to reshuffle this card after a host of new cases and close contacts. That meant Moka, Itoh, Noa and Kamiyu were out (and fingers crossed they’re all doing okay), but, on the upside, Raku is back! The Train God is here to make sure that everything will be okay.

I’m still not over 2021 being done and dusted, but we’re somehow already a month into 2022. However, the increasingly fast and unrelenting nature of time aside, January was a hell of a month for wrestling.
