Round two of the Mae Young Classic is coming to an end just a week after it started. Feels a bit quick, doesn’t it? Guess that’s what happens when you shove four matches into an hour. If WWE had spread this out a bit more, these women could have really shone. Anyway, I shouldn’t moan, I’ve enjoyed this tournament, and I’m already late with this review.

Mae Young Classic 2018 Episode 3 Review

Episode three of the Mae Young Classic has quite the line-up. You’ve got the return of Kaitlyn, plus the likes of Toni Storm, Jinny, Mia Yim and Allysin Kay (who is perhaps better known as Impact’s Sienna). With that group involved it’s probably a safe bet that we’re going to continue the theme of these being delightful slices of TV.

Mae Young Classic Episodes 1 and 2 Review

Over a month after it was taped, the Mae Young Classic finally came to the WWE Network yesterday and brought with it a swell of expectation. The Cruiserweight Classic was a highlight of last year and the pressure is on this tournament to compete. It’s also an important part of WWE’s attempts to alter history by convincing us that they’ve always liked women and that it wasn’t their fault there needed to be a ‘women’s revolution’ in the first place. Anyway, let’s not get too bitchy and instead have a look at how things went down during the first two episodes of this tournament.
