My Stardom Throwback project took a bit of a backseat recently (the ROH one is clinging to the outside of the car screaming for its life), but that doesn’t mean it’s over! As I’ve been saying for a while, we’re reaching exciting times in the early history of Stardom and today sees our first new rookie since show numero uno. Step forward, Saki Kashima.

After their jaunt to Osaka, Stardom returned to the familiar ground of Shinkiba for their next show. This would be their sixth outing and it now feels like they’ve have found their feet, established their early roster and should be looking to push things to the next level. Can they do it? Stardom’s second show from the 21st had an intriguing card. Not only did we get Natsu and Miyagi challenging for the Goddesses’ Titles, but Stardom put on a ‘Battle of the Super Heavyweights’ between Viper and Goya Kong. Throw in a decent undercard, and this had the potential to be a load of fun!

With the previous day’s show at Shinkiba bearing witness to everyone in Stardom getting in the challenging mood, you can only assume that this show was the start of us building to some of those matches.
