Twenty-five years is a long time to do anything, never mind something as physically demanding as wrestling. That’s doubly true when you are Nanae Takahashi, who hasn’t exactly taken it easy. Thankfully, she’s made it this far in one piece and chose to celebrate her 25th Anniversary by putting together one hell of a card. Although, I would question the logic of booking herself against Arisa Nakajima, who, let’s face it, probably wants to hurt her. But hey, what do I know?Continue reading “SEAdLINNNG Nanae Takahashi 25th Anniversary (11/7/21) Review”
December is a weird month for wrestling as it both feels quiet and busy. We’re building up to the New Year buzz in Japan, but at the same time, everyone is going back and looking at the past twelve months as a whole, picking out their favourite matches and moments. Still, wrestling never sleeps, so there was plenty of stuff to get your teeth into, and these were the ten matches that I particularly enjoyed.Continue reading “Ramblings About’s Top Ten Matches of December 2020”

If you thought yesterday’s Ice Ribbon review was a bit out of date, here’s a show from March. Normally, I wouldn’t bother with this over a month later, but SEAdLINNNG are unlikely to be running shows anytime soon, and they threw it up on YouTube so, why not? Plus, it’s nice to watch something relatively new where there are at least a handful of fans in attendance.Continue reading “SEAdLINNNG Shin-Kiba (23/3/20) Review”
Having already dived into Ice Ribbon this year I’ve decided to go a step further and try out SEAdLINNNG as well. That means this is another review where I’m coming in with little to no background knowledge, so please be kind, but also feel free to point out any mistakes in the comments. I’m always happy to learn.
You’ll also notice that I’ve decided to ditch star ratings. It’s something I’ve been considering for a while and now felt like the right time.Continue reading “SEAdLINNNG 5th Anniversary The Year Accelerates Even Hotter! (24/1/20) Review”
