Recently, I’ve moved away from reviewing shows that haven’t aired live because, to be honest, there are only so many hours in the day. However, some things are worth ignoring made-up rules for, and Tsukushi Haruka going after the big one is one of those things. It didn’t matter when this aired. I wasn’t going to miss the chance to talk about a match like that one.

I feel like I’ve had a weird relationship with Ice Ribbon in 2021. A combination of things not airing live and a lack of time and money has had me constantly playing catch-up or missing out on a lot of what they’re up to. Still, when I do tune in, I tend to have a lovely time, even with the rather major caveat that I’ll get into later in this review.

She’s going up against everyone’s favourite pest, Tsukushi, backed-up by an undercard of Syuri vs Sera and a four-way that honestly could be anything. It’s time. After stubbornly trying to catch-up for far too long, I have accepted defeat and sprung forward in time with Ice Ribbon. Quite frankly, people barely need my opinion on stuff happening in the here and now, never mind shit from a month ago, so it feels like the right decision and Ice Ribbon’s return to Korakuen seemed like the perfect time to do it. I will still be watching all those shows at some point, so if you want my opinion buy me a pint and I’ll happily fill you in.

Here’s a rarity, an Ice Ribbon review of a show that happened relatively recently. This went out on Samurai TV, giving me a chance to watch it before it gets too out of date and also providing us with more wrestling to beat away those Corona blues.
A wee reminder before I get started that this is only the third Ice Ribbon show I’ve watched, so don’t expect me to have an encyclopedic knowledge of the promotion. If I make mistakes/miss anything important or obvious, please let me know. I like learning about things.
