Having enjoyed Impact vs Lucha Underground from WrestleMania Weekend, I have decided to once again slip into the pool that is Impact. The company formerly known as TNA has burned me before, but their relationship with Lucha Underground combined with the likes of Don Callis taking critical roles behind the scenes has got me intrigued. I’m leaping in and hoping they’ve finally sorted their shit out.

Having checked out BOLA last year, I’ve decided to stay on the PWG train. That does mean I’ll be reviewing shows several months after the fact because I live in Scotland (which is a bit of a walk from Reseda) and the DVD model doesn’t exactly lend itself to a quick turnaround. With the almost daily announcement of some new disaster occurring for Impact (I think it’s Impact again now), it’s easy to forget that they are still producing wrestling. Yet, they are, and this week was Impact Victory Road. Much like Destination X, this wasn’t a PPV, but a special edition of the weekly show. Despite that, I figured I’d give it a shot.
