NJPW Young Lion Cup (10/9/19) Review

These Young Lion Cup matches feel like a throwback as NJPW didn’t show them live but has stuck the VOD up without commentary and with a stripped-back production. They used to do this for the G1 and BOSJ, but with the popularity of the brand increasing, they’ve been able to move away from that. Maybe if they get even bigger, the Young Lion Cup can graduate to every match receiving the works.

The Wrestling Media

It might surprise those of you who regularly read the grammatical nightmares that are my ramblings, but I have a Master’s degree in Journalism. In another world where the industry wasn’t dying, and I had the enthusiasm to push towards getting a proper job, there is every chance I would be working as a journalist right now. I wouldn’t be very good at it, but if Boris Johnson can do it, I’m sure I would have managed.
