Night two of Wrestling Dontaku finally brought this never-ending tour to an end. It wasn’t a horrible way to finish things off either. New Japan served up EVIL vs Ishii and a rematch of one of the best matches of the year so far, SANADA vs Okada. There was a real chance they were heading out on a high.

Night Two of Strong Style Evolved UK was when I rocked into town. So, expect this review to be a bit different. I’ll be talking more about the experience of being there rather than the intricacies of what was happening in the ring because quite frankly I wasn’t taking notes. I would be lying if I said this was a timely review as the show was nearly a month ago. A combination of the New Japan Cup, 16 Carat and everything else that has been going down means I’m only just getting to it. I always enjoy Cockpit shows, so hopefully, it will prove itself to be timeless. Let’s dish out some stars.
I don’t have a huge amount to say here. At Our Best’s card was pretty damn sexy on paper with all of British Strong Style appearing alongside the likes of Mike Bailey and David Starr. The chances of this being a bad show were slim. Let’s dish out some stars.
Another month, another RevPro visit to the Cockpit. February provided us with a packed show featuring seven matches, including an exciting main event between Zack Sabre Jr and Travis Banks. Time to see how they all got on. Let’s dish out some stars.
RevPro’s first show of 2018 took them back to The Cockpit for the start of their women’s title tournament. A card full of exciting women’s matches was further proof (as if it was needed) that it’s ridiculous for most companies to continue to treat them like a box to tick rather than an essential part of the show (something that RevPro themselves are guilty of). We can only hope they learn from this. Let’s dish out some stars.
RevPro’s last event of the year sees them back at York Hall for a packed card. All the titles are on the line and the famous venus is hosting women’s wrestling for the first time. Let’s dish out some stars.
