Ice Ribbon 1187 (20/3/22) Review

At the end of my last Ice Ribbon review, I promised that I would stop talking about the transitional period the company was in. Of course, since then, Tsukushi has announced her retirement, and I got a fright when I glanced at Twitter in the pub on Friday and thought Tsukka was following her. Thankfully, that’s not the case, as she’s simply taking some time off to enjoy married life, but it would be nice if Ice Ribbon could have a quiet period. Anyway, no matter who is coming or going, the wrestling continues, and they were in Korakuen over the weekend, which is nearly always a good time.

Ice Ribbon Knights Of Ribbon (18/9/21) Review

If you put Aja Kong vs Yuuki Mashiro on a wrestling card, I will be there. Honestly, that could have been the only match on this show, and Ice Ribbon would still have earned my money, so the fact there are some other exciting looking tidbits is a bonus. Ice Ribbon’s final trip to Yokohama Bunka perhaps hasn’t gone as smoothly as they’d have hoped. COVID threw more than one spanner in the works, and there were moments where you wondered if it was ever going to happen. Thankfully, they made it, packing the card and getting a fair number of people into the building as they saw the old place out.

Ice Ribbon 1054 – Summer Jumbo Ribbon (25/7/20) Review

It’s time. After stubbornly trying to catch-up for far too long, I have accepted defeat and sprung forward in time with Ice Ribbon. Quite frankly, people barely need my opinion on stuff happening in the here and now, never mind shit from a month ago, so it feels like the right decision and Ice Ribbon’s return to Korakuen seemed like the perfect time to do it. I will still be watching all those shows at some point, so if you want my opinion buy me a pint and I’ll happily fill you in.
