Another month is done, and this hell year ticks on, providing us with little joy. One thing it has given us, though, is plenty of fantastic wrestling. There are a lot of big tournaments going on right now, but not a single one made this list because, well, I honestly haven’t watched a second of them. There is a lot more fun to be had elsewhere.

She’s going up against everyone’s favourite pest, Tsukushi, backed-up by an undercard of Syuri vs Sera and a four-way that honestly could be anything. It’s 5STAR time! Yes, it’s not enough that we have the Princess Cup and King of DDT going on, we also have Stardom’s round-robin tournament bustling away in the background. It’s been a year of change in Stardom, giving this a rather fresh look despite the lack of outsiders. Will we get a new winner too? Or is my prediction that it’s time for Momo to rise back up the ranks correct?

It’s time. After stubbornly trying to catch-up for far too long, I have accepted defeat and sprung forward in time with Ice Ribbon. Quite frankly, people barely need my opinion on stuff happening in the here and now, never mind shit from a month ago, so it feels like the right decision and Ice Ribbon’s return to Korakuen seemed like the perfect time to do it. I will still be watching all those shows at some point, so if you want my opinion buy me a pint and I’ll happily fill you in.

You go forever without a Korakuen, and suddenly Stardom is there every second week. Their latest visit to that hallowed hall was all about putting those vacant belts back on people. Throw in a High Speed three-way that’s been long in the making, and you’ve got the potential for a decent show.

The Stardom return continued as they put together a two-show weekend to build to significant events in Korakuen, Osaka and Nagoya. While the cards were still unannounced going in, they had a lot of matches to set-up, so you could guarantee there was going to be a few interesting wrinkles.
