We’re here! It perhaps didn’t take the route it intended, but the 5STAR has reached its conclusion. Now, Stardom merely needs to power through the last group matches and the final. I’m sure that will be an easy day at the office.

With three events in just a bit over twenty-four hours, Stardom gave Fukuoka a big old dose of wrestling last weekend. It would come to an end with the penultimate 5STAR show, one that would provide us with an insight into who had a chance of winning this thing (although if you’re expecting me to sit down and do all the maths, you are sorely mistaken).

This was Stardom’s second show from Fukuoka last weekend and they still had one to go before they were done. I’m tired from reviewing them all, so I can’t imagine what the wrestlers were thinking. There is nothing like a tournament to test your cardio, but when that tournament has to cancel shows? Well, it seems a bit nightmarish to me.

It’s 5STAR time! Yes, it’s not enough that we have the Princess Cup and King of DDT going on, we also have Stardom’s round-robin tournament bustling away in the background. It’s been a year of change in Stardom, giving this a rather fresh look despite the lack of outsiders. Will we get a new winner too? Or is my prediction that it’s time for Momo to rise back up the ranks correct?

For once, my round-up of the last month’s best matches isn’t actually that late. I mean, it’s a little bit late, but by my standards, that’s pretty good. Sadly, my wrestling watching from September was restricted to the promotions I never miss, so it’s a pretty predictable list. However, they’re all gems, and you may well have missed something! All good things must come to an end, and the 5STAR Grand Prix is definitely a good thing. The last show will see both blocks come to a conclusion and give us the final too, so strap in for a packed night of wrestling. Who is going to take home the crown?
