Do you know what’s lovely? Live wrestling. ROH appear to have made Edinburgh a regular stop for them and while I can’t pretend I think their roster is that great at the moment, as long as they bring over NJPW guys I’ll be there. They were in Edinburgh on the 24th of May to open their Honor United tour and I went along to check it out.

Lovely poster too. Credit: Discovery Wrestling

Discovery Wrestling closed out the year with another visit from some of indie wrestling’s biggest talents. Disco has had a fantastic 2017 and it seemed only fitting that they’d say goodbye to it with another great show. Let’s dish out some stars.

ICW Fight Club 71 Review

After dipping back into ICW last week, I figured why not keep going? Fight Club 71 was filmed in my home city of Edinburgh, but I was on holiday, so I missed it. ICW Fight Club 70 Review

Since last year’s Fear & Loathing I’ve fallen out of touch with ICW. I haven’t had the chance to attend any shows and haven’t watched a Fight Club in far too long. This year’s F&L is around the corner, and the hype is beginning to build. With Fight Club 70 up on YouTube, it was time to see what was happening in Scotland’s wildest promotion. Let’s dish out those stars.

5 Observations From Discovery Wrestling

I’ve always felt bad about not attending Discovery Wrestling shows. As an Edinburgh-based brand they’re my local promotion, and yet ICW got its claws into me first. However, with the announcement that The Elite were going to be gracing their ring it seemed as good a time as any to hit up my first show. And hopefully, kickstart a relationship that will continue on for a while yet. So, here’s five thing we noticed at a sold-out Corn Exchange.

Fear & Loathing IX

top-20-11-2016fearloathing9_top

Before I go into the nitty-gritty of my thoughts on ICW’s Fear & Loathing IX, I want to make one thing clear. What ICW have achieved is incredible. Their rise from community centre misfits to one of the best wrestling companies in the world will never be repeated, and nothing I say here will change that. I am at the heart of things a fan and Dallas and everyone else involved can be damn proud. However, a  couple of thousand words of me kissing their arse isn’t that exciting so let’s get on with the review.
