Hello friends, welcome to The Listening Booth. We have a bit of a theme running through what I’ve been listening to this week, but I’ll leave that for you to figure out (it’s not going to be hard). Whether you agree with my ramblings or not, it’s three stunning albums, so if you’d prefer to close this shite and listen to them, I won’t hold it against you.

One day I will run out of Mania Weekend shows that I want to review. That shall not be this day. It would have been a bit weird not to check in on Stardom when I watch everything else they do. Plus, there was no chance I was missing Momo vs Utami.

DDT is the next promotion I have pencilled down to start watching, so I was intrigued to check out their trip to America and see one of their shows with the benefit of English commentary. However, that also means I am coming into this with exactly zero prior knowledge, please don’t judge me.

It’s time for Spring Break 3 Part 2 and, believe it or not, I am sober! Whether that remains the case by the end of the show, remains to be seen. Let’s do this shit.

It’s time for the big one! New Japan is in the Garden. And, well, I guess Ring Of Honor is there too. The G1 Supercard should be the show of the weekend, and if ROH weren’t there, I’d be putting money on that being the case. Sadly, I don’t trust those cunts, so we’ll have to wait and see. Still, Ibushi vs Naito could fart into a kazoo for thirty minutes, and I’d stand up and clap, so I’m going to have a good time.

As it is WrestleMania Weekend and I’m drunk, I’m bashing these reviews out and not really editing them (yes, I usually edit). If an incoherent ramble doesn’t interest you, don’t bother reading them.

It’s Joey Janela’s Spring Break Three and I have a beer. Need I say more? (I might just start all my reviews like that now).

It’s TakeOver time, and while I despise WWE, I love a TakeOver. I do want to make it very clear that while I pay for all the other wrestling I watch, not a penny of mine goes to WWE. Find a way to stream it folks, and fuck that company. Anyway, my hatred of the McMahons aside, this has the potential to be a weekend stealing card although I watched Nick Gage wrestle Swoggle earlier, so they’ll have to smash it out the park to beat that.

The WrestleCon Supershow is a WrestleMania tradition at this point and, despite having both PAC and a load of Dragon Gate talent pull out this year, you can almost guarantee it will deliver.

WrestleCon kicked off the Friday of ‘Mania weekend with a show that was genius in its simplicity. USA vs The World allowed them to throw a bunch of random guys in the ring and start the day with some fun combinations. Why complicate it further than that?
