NXT TakeOver: The End Review

NXT TakeOver: The End has proven to be many things, but despite rumours it does not seem to signal the end of NXT. For one thing, they have a TV taping tomorrow so that would be a massive waste of time. What it definitely was, is yet another great wrestling show for WWE’s supposed developmental territory.

NXT TakeOver: The End Preview

NXT TakeOver: The End has set some people all a tither. With the brand split now confirmed rumours have been swirling that The End might be more literal than we thought. While I can claim no insider knowledge, I think it’s safe to say that idea is mental. WWE’s developmental system is one of the most entertaining wrestling shows on the go and getting rid of it would rank in the top three dumb Vinnie Mac ideas. NXT Takeover: Respect

NXT Takeover: Respect felt like a strange show going into it.  It was lacking the hype of previous NXT shows.  Despite on paper, looking like it could be fantastic.  It featured two women main eventing an NXT Special for the first time and the conclusion of the Dusty Roads Classic.  Throw in the debuting Asuka and this show should have felt huge.  Thankfully what it lacked in hype, it more than made up for on the day.

NXT Takeover: Rivals Preview

With just a two month turnover between live specials, the latest NXT Takeover: Rivals, has had roughly eight hours of Network time to promote itself into a strong show.  To put that into perspective, the main roster do six hours a week with Raw, Smackdown and Main Event.  Therefore, it is a bit of a disgrace that this again feels like one of the best built WWE shows in recent times.
