World Tag League might not have the prestige of the G1 or even the Super Juniors but this year has the potential to be interesting. They’ve left the big names out and brought in a load of fresh foreign talent to create some intriguing combos. It’s set up a tournament that promises to be a lot of fun. Let’s dish out some stars.
War Games. It’s the one gimmick match that WWE hasn’t run into the ground. In fact, they haven’t touched it. Until now. After years of fans calling for it, it’s finally back. I’m not entirely sure if it was needed, but we’re getting it. Minor quibbles aside, NXT TakeOvers are always good and this one was no exception. Let’s dish out some stars.
After a short delay (there is a lot of wrestling to watch) it’s time to wrap up these BOLA reviews. This is the big one as some of the wrestlers are required to work three times in a building that all reports suggest is more like a sauna than a fun place to wrestle. Let’s dish out some stars.

Ahead of their sexy Global Wars shows, RevPro were back in the cockpit for a not exactly bad-looking line-up itself. There’s no point blabbing for too long. Let’s dish out those stars.
Dragon Gate has been calling to me for a while now. Everything I’ve heard suggests it’s a promotion I’ll love and yet I’ve never got around to giving it my time. Until now. However, this does mean I’m going in blind. Storylines and most of the wrestlers are a mystery. Hopefully as time goes on, I will learn these things, but for now, I can only review the action bell to bell. Let’s dish out some stars.
The last time I reviewed Impact, I said it would be exactly that, the last time. However, since then there has been more creative changes and the company seems to be heading in the right direction. So, once again, we step into the breach. It’s Bound For Glory time and Impact’s biggest show of the year is getting another chance to impress me. Let’s dish out some stars.

As a rule, I try to keep my wrestling reviews relatively current. There are too many outstanding shows going on to get wrapped up in reviewing everything, and sometimes you just have to let stuff go. When it comes to PWG (and their unusual way of getting their product out to a broader audience), I’m willing to make an exception. The Battle Of Los Angeles has become an essential date in the indie calendar and with the DVDs finally being released to those of us who couldn’t pack into the sweatbox, it’s time to check out this year’s edition. I was dreading TLC. The combination of a pumpkin vs Norman Bates, a powerpoint presentation and a stupid main event didn’t do much for me. Then illness hit WWE (get better soon everyone), and it got interesting. Suddenly, two former leaders of The Bullet Club were going head to head. There was still a lot wrong with this card, but at least I now wanted to watch it. Let’s dish out some stars.
After dipping back into ICW last week, I figured why not keep going? Fight Club 71 was filmed in my home city of Edinburgh, but I was on holiday, so I missed it. Thankfully, the internet provides and with a main event involving Chris Renfrew and Mikey Whiplash doing all sorts of horrible things to each other, this was always going to be worth a watch. Let’s dish out those stars.
