So, we reach the end. Stardom’s Tag League finished up in Nagoya, and while I’m still not entirely sure who can face Jamie and Bea in the final, it’s been a fun ride. Hopefully, at some point during this review, I can figure it out.Continue reading “Stardom Goddesses of Stardom Tag League (15/11/19) Review”
You know, I have don’t have a clue which teams are in place to win this Tag League. This was the penultimate show, and I think Jamie and Bea might already be in the final? On what was a massive weekend of wrestling in Japan, it would have made no sense for Stardom to miss out on all the fun. Tag League kicked off in earnest with Stardom running two shows on one day in Osaka. It’s a nice quirk of fate that they are running a Tag League at the same time as New Japan just after the Bushiroad purchase. The companies might not be working closely together, but it’s still going to be fun to see which one is better. My money is on Stardom.Continue reading “Stardom Goddesses Of Stardom Tag League (Afternoon 19/10/19) Review”
It’s all change in the world of Stardom, as Bushiroad buying the company has worried some and excited others. Personally, I’m optimistic about the future, as it feels like the perfect time to put more money into Stardom and discover what their ceiling is. Plus, if it’s a choice between Bushiroad and WWE, there’s no real contest.
Anyway, this was a packed Korakuen with two big title defences, the start of World Tag League and a rookie taking on her master. Let’s see what went down.Continue reading “Stardom World Champion Wars (14/10/19) Review”
A quick note before we start, the hard camera for this show was all over the place. It hadn’t been stabilised and was wobbling about. There also appeared to be a couple of people having a quiet chat right next to it which was picked up on the microphone at times. Neither issue was a disaster, but if you are annoyed by things like that, you’re going to have a rough time.
Anyway, it’s Stardom at Korakuen which is almost guaranteed to be a good time at this point. Throw in Jungle Kyona vs Arisa Hoshiki, and you can probably upgrade the good to lovely.Continue reading “Stardom X Stardom (10/8/19) Review”
