Stardom rocked up in Sapporo for a two-show day. I like the set-up of these shows with the afternoon building to the evening, but it must be exhausting for the wrestlers. Still, fun is waiting to be had, so let’s go have it.

Before we get into my review of Stardom’s latest trip to Korakuen, I want to talk about My Hobby, a series on Stardom World detailing wrestler’s, well, hobbies. So far, it has followed Mayu Iwatani and Saki Kashima hanging out with Mayu’s dog Pochi at a doggy day care, and it is the greatest thing that has ever existed. I was having a miserable day when I watched it, and it put an almost painful smile on my face. More videos of wrestlers having a good time with their pets, please. In fact, if Stardom wishes to ditch the wrestling business and transition into the wrestlers hanging out with pets business, I would probably be okay with it. Pochi is my Ace.
Anyway, let’s get onto what we are actually here to talk about.

It was recently Golden Week in Japan and Stardom ran a gimmick where each unit was handed an opportunity to produce a show. Up first were STARS, who put together a card headlined by the Costume Change Battle Royal. I shall be judging all the units based on their booking, so they better deliver quality throughout.

Night two of this weekend was set to be the big one as the Stardom Draft took place, but the first show wasn’t without consequences itself. The main event saw Oedo Tai put their dance up against Queen’s Quest’s masks as one will be lost forever. Which one? Read on to find out.

It’s time for the big one! New Japan is in the Garden. And, well, I guess Ring Of Honor is there too. The G1 Supercard should be the show of the weekend, and if ROH weren’t there, I’d be putting money on that being the case. Sadly, I don’t trust those cunts, so we’ll have to wait and see. Still, Ibushi vs Naito could fart into a kazoo for thirty minutes, and I’d stand up and clap, so I’m going to have a good time.
